Self-portraits are an important part of my artistic practice. My journey in photography began with them: at first, they were a way to keep shooting when there was no one around who could pose for me, and over time self-portraiture turned into a full-fledged exploration of myself and my own life.

I create self-portraits in different emotional states. The moment of pressing the shutter gives me a sense of wholeness and self-awareness. Through photographing my own identity, I keep a chronicle of my life and the significant events that have shaped it. In this way, the self-portrait has become a means of expression and a personal visual diary.
